EQUILIBRIUM IN MIND AND BODY

What is a Heart-wall?
A heart-wall is created by your subconscious mind as a way of protecting you against future hurts and disappointments - it's a barrier to protect you from emotional pain. It's a defence mechanism to protect your heart from injury, dull the sensations of heartache, and protect your heart from breaking completely.
It's estimated that approximately 93% of people have a heart-wall.
A heart-wall is made from layers of trapped emotions that lodge around your heart. Each trapped emotion creates one layer in your heart-wall. These trapped emotions literally build a wall of energy to protect the heart from emotional pain. A heart-wall can be beneficial in the short term (e.g.) to help you deal with a difficult situation. As you experience more negative situations and trauma in your life your heart-wall continues to grow by adding more layers. Over time it interferes with other areas of your life, and limits your ability to experience life, and love.

What are the affects of a Heart-wall?
Dr. Bradley Nelson, creator of the Emotion Code believes that a heart-wall affects us in two ways:
"First, they (heart-walls) block the heart energy from flowing through the body; this makes it more difficult for the body to heal itself, and can cause physical symptoms, particularly in the neck, upper back and shoulders.
Second, they (heart-walls) block us from fully opening our hearts to others. In essence, a heart-wall will make you numb to others and make it more difficult for you to feel emotions and connect to others".
Potential Heart-wall effects:
-
Physical issues such as neck, shoulder, back, or chest discomfort
-
Fatigue
-
Respiratory issues
-
Feeling disconnected from others
-
Relationship blocks
-
Desensitised to emotions
-
Harder to feel positive
-
Lack of empathy
-
Lack of joy
